Take a walk through downtown Minneapolis and you can’t help but notice that this is a modern city that is in love with its past. These iconic signs are remnants of a different time, but loom over the city, co-existing alongside new condos, parks, and buildings! This series of prints is an attempt to not only capture, but celebrate, both the past and present that make Minneapolis unique!

These limited edition screenprints incorporate photographic elements reworked as pure black and white, then hand printed on stark white paper. The results are an eye-catching, high-contrast image of some of the most notable of the old Minneapolis signs.
